Objective

To create an unbroken, high-capacity transport corridor linking mainland Azerbaijan to the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and, onward, to Turkey

Description

This line is a critical eastern component of the Zangezur Corridor. Alongside other major infrastructure (like the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars route), it is designed to strengthen the Middle Corridor by creating a fast, reliable freight route from Asia to Europe
