Objective
The primary objective of East Ismailia is to accelerate Egypt's industrial transformation by shifting toward a knowledge-based economy. The zone targets high-value sectors, including semiconductors, electronics engineering, and green technology. By utilizing local raw materials like high-purity silica, it aims to localize advanced manufacturing and reduce import reliance. Furthermore, the zone is designed to drive foreign direct investment, generate thousands of highly skilled engineering jobs, and boost non-oil exports. Ultimately, it leverages Suez Canal logistics to position Egypt as a leading international center for technological innovation and industrial exports.
