The 192-kilometer Pepel-Tonkolili Railway in Sierra Leone is undergoing a major rehabilitation and expansion, spearheaded by a multi-million dollar agreement between the Government of Sierra Leone and ARISE Integrated Industrial Platforms (ARISE IIP). The project aims to upgrade freight capacity and reintroduce public passenger services, which were terminated in 1974.P
